Your changes should be there! (If this doesn't work or you have questions about this just ask and I should be able to help. Start a new run and make sure the dummy mod is on. Now run the game and if you haven't already, enable the mod loader in the gameplay options. Also delete the scripts folder if there is one. Replace the res.pak here with yours by pasting it. ![]() In here find the folder "588650" In that folder there should be the folder "1405810340". Go to your steamapps folder then go to the workshop folder. You will find a res.pak in a folder called packed. txt in the deadcells mod tools folder and type in the following text: PAKTool.exe -CreateDiffPak -refpak ".\base assets\res.pak" -indir ".\output" -outPak ".\packed\res.pak" Save and rename the file to pack.bat and run it. Now I haven't made a diffpak but i think it's done like this: Go to the steam workshop and subscribe to the mod "dummy mod". Hidden means that you can't see the data or formula from that cell in the Formula Bar, but you will still see the data or the formula result in the cell. Locking a cell means that it cannot be edited or changed when the sheet is protected. Unlocking a cell means that the cell can be edited or changed when the sheet is protected. First of all let me clarify what these terms mean. In there there will be a new res.pak which you just have to replace the one in the base deadcells folder with. According to your description you unlocked the cells C5:F11 before protecting the sheet. To overwrite the original res.pak make a new txt file in the mod tools folder and name it pack.txt Put the following text into it: PAKTool.exe -Collapse -inDir ".\output" -outpak ".\packed\res.pak" Save it and rename it to pack.bat and run it to pack the files into a new folder called packed. Diffpaks are made to be uploaded to the steam workshop and disable achievements. Overwriting the base one allows for it to be on 24/7 without disabling achievements, but cannot be uploaded to the workshop. The sprites will be in output\atlas for your editing needs! Once you finish editing you need to pack it to have it affect the game. bat Running this file will make a command window appear, wait until it closes itself before anything else. (Located just above the enter key) Now rename the file extension to. Just note that those are forward slashes not back slashes. Edit the text file and type in this exact text: PAKTool.exe -Expand -outdir ".\output" -refpak ".\base assets\res.pak" Save the file. txt file in the mod tools folder and name it unpack or something like that. Now if you plan on unpacking and repacking alot I reccomend making some bat files to help with that. (It can be named anything really) Then go back to the dead cells folder and copy the file "res.pak" and paste it into the base assets folder you made. Go to the dead cells folder, then into mod tools. This method isn't the fastest, but it's what I use.
